Laurie
was married for 21 years to the late David Morris,
a well known worship leader, author, and teacher in the
body of Christ. Together they pastored and lead worship
at three different churches over the course of their
marriage. As a result of childhood sexual abuse,
David struggled with sexual addictions - particularly
homosexuality, and he and Laurie walked through healing
while in leadership. Laurie has taught on worship and
the arts and sexual issues in the Church for many years.
She longs to impart hope to those who are hurting from
sexual brokenness. Laurie loves all things creative and
is a prophetic musician who plays the flute, the piano,
and sings. She currently resides in North Carolina and
is the proud mother of 4 and a grandmother of 1.5!
